And I am a multi-talented artist, certified therapeutic art coach, and certified Zentangle teacher (CZT) based in Washington, USA. I have a strong educational background, having earned Masters degrees in both Psychology and Computer Science. My lifelong love for the arts, rooted in my childhood, drives me to pursue a career in art education.
I firmly believe that anyone can learn to draw, as long as they possess the right attitude and a willingness to learn. I have had the privilege of teaching art to students of all ages, and it brings me great joy to see them develop and improve their skills.
As a professional Graphite Art instructor, I specialize in teaching students of all skill levels how to master the art of drawing flowers, animals, and still life using various pencil techniques and strokes. My classes focus on mastering perspective and creating dynamic compositions, all while utilizing the rich depth and versatility of graphite.
As a mandala instructor, I offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers everything from the basics to more advanced and intricate designs. My lessons also include instruction on Celtic and Sacred geometry, providing students with a diverse range of techniques and styles to explore. I guide my students through the use of various tools and techniques to create symmetrical and visually stunning decorative mandalas.
As a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), I specialize in using the Zentangle Method to create beautiful non-representational art. The Zentangle Method is a unique and enjoyable way to create art, as it involves drawing structured patterns, known as tangles, in a relaxed and meditative manner. With this method, anyone can easily learn to create stunning images, regardless of their artistic experience.
In my online classes, I incorporate a diverse range of mediums into my artwork, including graphite, colored pencils, watercolors, and acrylics, among others.
Through my personal experience, I have discovered that various forms of non-representational art such as Mandalas, Zendalas, Zen-Doodling, Dot paintings, and Zentangle all possess a meditative quality due to their repetitive patterns. Not only do these art forms enhance focus and concentration, but they also have the ability to uplift one's mood and emotional well-being.
Seeing the happiness on my students' faces as they draw and complete their projects brings me immense pleasure.
